They are big enough to host quiet squares and beaches to go with children.  No matter where you stay, you can easily move from one village to another with the local busses. Kind advice: leave the car, sometimes the traffic can be terrible! If you have strollers, the only place who can be very difficult to visit is Positano (many many stairs). The main square of Amalfi is perfect for children to play and for parents to enjoy some limoncello or the Delizia al Limone, the most famous local dessert.

A tour of the Duomo is highly recommended to really understand local culture and history. Don’t miss a cuoppo of anchovies (the cuoppo is a conic paper box where they usually put fried stuff), delicious! To wake up children curiosity, go to the Paper Museum, it shows you the long long tradition of paper making in Amalfi (their paper is one fo the most famous in the world) and kids can try making their own paper too! Another great activity for sporting families is trekking around Amalfi: try the ferriere’s path, is ideal for kids too.

On the boat

Boat is ideal to reach Positano, Capri or Sorrento and make your Amalfi coast with kids ‘s stay complete. Another great excursion is to the Grotta dello smeraldo, a stunning green grotto to reach by boat or walking, close to Amalfi.
