GLASTONBURY, ENGLAND

The greatest, the most famous pop-rock European festival! Did I tell you how much I love music? England (and north Europe in general) is the place to be if you want to enjoy the right mix of fun, great music, entertainment and an amazing family time. Glastonbury happens every 2 years (this year from the 26th to the 30th of June) and it’s a super crowded festival, so consider to book in advance. What happens at Glastonbury for children? Kidzfield is the children area of the festival, featuring the top names from the universe of children’s entertainment. This green area offers adventures like climbing walls, jumping on wooden ships and lots of others activities. Plus, music is great! Don’t miss the chance to do a Tapsy Tour of Stonehenge, it is just few kilometers from Glastonbury!

DOUNE THE RABBIT HOLE, SCOTLAND

It define itself ‘an intimate family friendly, dog loving independent music & arts festival’, so apparently there’s no better place to be with kids if you are looking for what to do around Europe this summer! This festival happens from the 19th to the 21st of July. Lost in the middle of nowhere, it is easily reachable from Edinburgh and Glasgow, it has a very particular line-up (check it out here) and looooots of activities for kids, they can do yoga – yes, yoga! – workshops, picnics, and have a family area to play in.

Who told jazz is for adults only? If you are planning to go to Copenhagen, try from 5th to 14th of July, when this amazing city hosts this festival, which reserves many activities for kids, to help them learning more about this particular music genre.
