CHP PIX, the annual Film Festival for emerging talents, became a massive event in Copenaghen for kids and youth after it merged in 2006 with BUSTER FILM Festival. The Festival usually lasts 14 days and it presents a wide range of unreleased quality films (about 200) from all over the world and about 700 film related activities and events. The Film Festival also displays retrospective sections with with the top-rated world filmmakers such as Andrzej Zulawski, Bertrand Bonello, Terence Davies and William Friedkin. Moreover, the festival offers a wide range of workshops for families with kids, in which children will have the opportunity to edit movies, create their own podcast or become a sound designer for a day! A true wonder for every kid wishing to work in the film industry!

The 10th edition of the festival will be run between September 27th 2018 and October 10th 2018, for a two-week super intense film experience.

Located in the the multicultural Nørrebro district, at a two minute walk from Ægirsgade bus station, you can easily get to the Festival by train or bus from Copenhagen city centre in about 20-30 minutes. Since Copenhagen is the city of bicycles, don’t forget that you can reach the CHP PIX Film Festival also by bike, consider that it’s at just 4km from the city centre!

Tickets to attend to the weekend movie projection cost 17kr, while tickets for the family workshops are 40 DKK per person and they can be purchased online, for telephone or on site.
