Valle d’Aosta, north-west side, hosts his majesty the Mont Blanc, the highest mountain of Europe, with 194 km of slopes. If in Piemonte, go to Sestriere and its ‘Milk Way’, a huge mountain range that goes from Italy to France, where both adults and kids will have fun practicing on the slopes. This region is particularly kid-friendly, offering many activities, from museums to mountains. With just 10 km of slopes, Mt Etna offers something that you can rarely see when you go skiing: being on a volcano and having an amazing view on the sea. This worths the journey.
