TOP 6 THINGS TO DO IN BARCELONA WITH KIDS
#1 FIND THE DRAGONS HIDDEN IN THE CITY
Did you know that Barcelona is the city of dragons? They are hidden all around the city, especially in the Barrio Gotico. That’s why during my Tapsy Tour of Barcelona I enjoy challenging kids to see who can find more!

#2 FLY OVER BARCELONA WITH THE FUNICULAR
What’s incredible about Montjuïc is that the trip itself to reach it is great part of the fun. In fact, in order to ride up to Montjuic Castle, you have to take a cable car, called Funicular de Montjuic, from which you can enjoy an amazing view of the city.
#3 BE ENCHANTED BY COLORFUL WATERS GAMES
Once you are in Montjuïc, don’t forget to wait for the water games of the Font màgica in Plaça d’Espanya. Kids will be captured by its incredible choreography of water, colors and music. To check the lighting hours visit the Ajuntament de Barcelona website.
#4 ENOY A PICNIC SURROUNDED BY NATURE
Among the things to do in Barcelona with kids, don’t forget to relax! And what’s the best way if not having a picnic at Parc de Ciutadella? Moreover, if you have enjoyed enough relax, the park has a lot of activities to offer. From a walk among the statues of the park, to the duck feeding and the boat rowing, it’s impossible to get bored here!
#5 ENJOY CULTURE, FUN AND BREATHTAKING VIEWS ALL AT ONCE
There is one place in Barcelona where everything you might want to do will be at your fingertips. That’s Tibidabo. In fact, on the top of this mountain, you can visit an amazing church, Sagral Chor Church, have fun in a charming 19th-century amusement park, named Tibidabo after the mountain, and enjoy a breathtaking view of the city from this high point. If it’s not enough, just notice that the trip to get here itself is much fun. In fact, to get to the top of the mountain, there is a funicular and your kids will love a ride on it!
#6 SEE SHARKS, PENGUINS AND RAYS BEING FEEDED
If you are planning to go to the Aquariumof Barcelona, keep in mind that in specific hours you can see the sharks, penguins, rays and other animals being feeded. Check the timetable on the Aquarium of Barcelona website.
