NOVEMBER IN EUROPE: FLORENCE, ITALY
Romantic? Yes? Kid-friendly? Definitely! Florence is big, but you can easily walk all over the city with your kids and enjoy every corner and beautiful views. It is worth visiting anytime of the year, but autumn makes it special. Florence is one of the great capitals of art in the world, so if you are coming for the first time it’s hard to choice where to start! Uffizi Galleries, the Basilica of Santa Croce, Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti, Leonardo Da Vinci’s museum, kids will discovery a bunch of beauty! NOVEMBER IN EUROPE: PARIS, FRANCE
The one and only, Paris is not just the iconic romantic city. Temperatures in November are still reasonably, so get your scarf and get lost into the beauty! Tourist are not so much during this month, so you will not risk to get stuck for hours trying to visit the Louvre or the Musée d’Orsay.
If you have brave children, you can consider an hop on-hop off tour, even if the the temperature is low. It definitely worth a ride, the view is always 360% amazing.
NOVEMBER IN EUROPE: LONDON, ENGLAND
I know, hard choice: Paris or London? I really hope you can do both! Paris has my heart, but London has my soul! I always feel like Sherlock Holmes when I come here, getting lost in my mole-trench discovering all the secrets of the Queen! As they know rain very well, most of the iconic attraction are indoor, like free museums: I highly recommend the Tate Modern, not just a museum but a place made for kids! NOVEMBER IN EUROPE: MADRID, SPAIN
Hola amigos! Madrid might be a bit cold, yes, but hey! Do like moles do, get a jacket and a scarf and go! As the Capital of Spain, here it is where you can see and visit the Royal Palace and much more. Madrid is a great place for art and there are two spots you can’t absolutely miss, the Prado Museum and the Reina Sofia Museum. Here kids will admire the beautiful Guernica of Picasso. The museum is also plenty of attractions and programs thought for families with children.
NOVEMBER IN EUROPE: LISBON, PORTUGAL
Get lost on the Atlantic Coast! Worried about the weather? Don’t be! Lisbon is one of the European cities with the best year-round weather, with mild winter. Very kid-friendly, Lisbon is settled on 7 hills, like Rome, so it’s plenty of gorgeous views from everywhere. Don’t miss the Belem tower, the old Alfama district, the Cathedral, but most of all enjoy the atmosphere and the famous tram line, the delicious food and the culture (discover more here).
