Maybe you’ve already visited Florence with kids but you never did it with me (in which case, shame!) and – probably – you’ve never been to TASTE Florence.
Well, now that I’ve gave you 2 great reasons to get back to Tuscany, pack your suitcases, because March is a fantastic time to visit Florence with a Tapsy Tour and get the best of this amazing city.

WHAT IS TASTE FLORENCE?
You love food, I know (me too!) and Florence is one of the best places to be, especially in march.
TASTE Florence (official website) is devoted to the professionals of food but, thank God, it is also open to the public, every day from 2.00 pm to 7.30 pm. A big, delicious occasion to discover the best food and beverage Italian brands and producers. TASTE Florence will open at Stazione Leopolda, of of the main events venue in town and it’s an event related to the well knowed Pitti Immagine, the most innovative fashion fair in Italy.

WHAT’S UP AT TASTE FLORENCE?
Food, food and…oh, did I mention food? TASTE Florence will be full of little events totally devoted to that thing Italians do better, cooking. A special focus, apparently, will be about bread, one of my favorite food! Italy has a great tradition with bread, people can tell stories of mothers and grandmothers that still make their own homemade bread. Food is sharing in the Belpaese, so there will be workshops and meeting to talking about the importance of making food ‘sociable’, even when it is made by the most famous chefs.
At TASTE Florence you can eat, drink, listen, talk, dream about food. Kids will discover a whole world related to food and to the importance to have a healthy alimentation, to be the chef of the future.

A very special one is Miniforaging , that will teach children to recognize and taste all the typical food of Tuscany countryside. Kids will also learn how to plant and grow those special food. A great chance to discover more about local food and recipes, away from the touristic’s routes.
