There are so many things to do in Copenhagen with kids, but just some of them are really Tapsylicious! Let’s discover this marvelous city with your family
Copenhagen is definitely a modern and kid friendly city. There’s no better way than visit it with me, of course. So here it is everything we can’t absolutely miss to have a great time in Copenhagen.
THINGS TO DO IN COPENHAGEN WITH KIDS: MUST SEE
Copenhagen is probably the most welcoming capital of Northern Europe, so fascinating and exciting. Romantic for parents and funny for children! First of all, it is the city of Hans Christian Andersen and the famous Mermaid. The Mermaid statue statue is my favorite place to start exploring the city! Made by Carl Jacobsen, it is the symbol of Copenhagen, you can’t consider to miss it. Do you know that many times vandals stolen the head of the statue? Other things to do in Copenhagen? I will bring you to the Gefion Fountain, of course! A legend is depicted on this fountain, it tells about the birth of the island on which Copenhagen was built, Zealand. Want to know more? Amalienborg Palace is the place to be to know more about the Danish Royal family. Here children will certainly have fun watching the changing of the guard, every day at noon. Danish people literally love the Royal Family, which is also very easy going: there are chances you can encounter them around the city, without guards, riding their bike!

Best gelato? Probably at Ismageriet, creamy and so big, children will love it. If you are looking for something healthy and incredibly good for your children, try Souls: burgers, smoothies, yogurts at any time, from breakfast to dinner, including the brunch!
THINGS TO DO IN COPENHAGEN WITH KIDS: FREE TIME
Once you’ve done with the cultural itineraries, don’t miss the chance to visit a couple of places very tapsylicious! The first one is Tivoli Garden, much more than just a park: in the very heart of Copenhagen, is a great natural place and also a theme park, with amusements and rides that your children will love. I always go to the Experimentarium too! Your children will have the best time of their life in this playful science place. Interactive highlights, a Tunnel of senses, the Miniverset (just opened in April 2018) where children from 1 to 5 learn science through play. What are you waiting for?
