BEST HIKES IN ITALY TO DO WITH KIDS

BY THE SEA: SENTIERO AZZURRO AT CINQUE TERRE, LIGURIA

Azzurro means blue, and you can imagine why. This stunning walk is through the amazing coastal line of Cinque Terre and it’s like taking a walk in heaven. These villages lie on cliffs overlooking the water, you recognize them by  multi-coloured facades that light the sea, like a rainbow. Each village deserves a stop to taste local product or just chilling into the little squares by the sea, while kids play around. Better to go at the end of summer or the beginning of autumn, when it is not so crowded and you can fully enjoy the view and the quiet of these places. 

HIKES IN ITALY ON THE MOUNTAINS: LAVAREDO, TRENTINO

This is one of the most spectacular hikes in Italy.  A pretty easy walk you can do even with kids, which are always welcome in Trentino. The region is very famous all around Europe as one of the most kid-friendly places in Italy. You will find several family hotels and activities for kids here. But let’s get back to the hike: the ‘3 cime of Lavaredo‘ (3 tops of Lavaredo) are UNESCO heritage and also an incredible view! You will walk down them during your family hiking, the landscape is amazing and this is a daily excursion perfect to escape noises and stress. Just chill and enjoy the view!
